Ding! 70!
New Look for Northrend
Boy it’s been a long time since I felt so good about a level as I do about 70. This weekend I made a determined push, the first I’ve had with Rhii in a good long while and made it to that last level of BC. I saw the much anticipated flash of golden light while questing my way through Shadowmoon Valley yesterday afternoon, and I promptly did what every first time 70 does immediately. I went out and blew a couple hundred gold on this beauty:

Took me a bit to figure out how to work my new (and severely limited… no flying in Northrend for seven more levels?? I just got it, don’t take it away from meeee!) mode of transportation. But once I got the hang of it, I soared off to explore Hellfire Penninsula for the achievement. Fun stuff.
There followed a rush of level 70 instances, for gear I promptly replaced on arriving at Borean Tundra… and there I remain, slaying animals and fleeing D.E.H.T.A. and having a grand old time.
At the risk of sounding Gnomeish, I’m going to list the achievements the last few days have brought. My guildies got kind of bored watching them roll by in /g chat, I’m sure. Each one brought a more bored sounding “gratz” than the last… or maybe that’s my imagination. I’m sure they were happy for me… really… Anyway, here goes:
1) Hills Like White Elekk, 2) Mysteries of the Marsh, 3) Level 70, 4) Into the Wild Blue Yonder, 5) 1000 Quests Completed, 6) Explore Hellfire Peninsula, 7) Shadow Labyrinth, 8 ) The Mechanar, 9) The Botanica, 10) The Arcatraz, 11) Working Day and Night
Whew! Long weekend, huh? I might try for the Outland Dungeonmaster achievement, since I’m pretty close to it anyway, I’m only missing Slave Pens, Mana-Tombs, Sethekk Halls, Steamvault, and Magister’s Terrace.
Achievements make me do useless things, I swear.
Also, coming soon: An account of how I’ve spent my time between Rhii dinging 67 a month ago and her dinging 70 yesterday.

Level 70, wow not bad, leveling guides work good for me, I'm lazy you see I just want to get there the fastest way possible.

I am envious… there are so many outland achievements I could get.. if only I had the time to go back… right about now I wish I wasn't 80, so I had the excuse to chase them… "Sure guys, I am racing to 80… just one more achievement left to get here".
Lol, Gnomeaggedon… if I knew what addon takes your auto-screenshots, I'd probably be posting them left, right, and center. I'm always annoying my boyfriend by making him wave for the "camera" or /yelling something for a screenie I'm planning as it is…. I'll stick one of those shots up here when I get an opportunity.
