Well its that time of year again. The day we all roll out of bed, rub our eyes, and look to Blizzard to post some fantastic ideas that unfortunately are nothing but a big hoax. I’ll be updating this post as new jokes come to my attention.
PIMP MY MOUNT
Today’s first spotted april fools joke from Blizzard comes from the EU side (as expected…its already mid day there 
) and it is non other then customizing your mounts through their P1mp My Mount system. How many people would kill grind to have this be true? Blizzard is always looking for more money sinks right? And we already know the community loves to play house.
DANCE BATTLE SYSTEM
Blizzard-US responds with their WoW Dance Battle System. I can see the joke but isn’t that in somewhat poor taste when we were originally promised a new dance studio at the “OP to the Max” announcement of WotLK? I mean wowsers, we’re almost 5 months into this now and still won’t see this till post patch 3.1? They went to the trouble of making a complete machinima video (See youtube embed) but no matter how may times I rewind this…I don’t notice any new purplelicious moves.
I should also point out that other sites like to pull their own 4/1 pranks as well. Wowhead did a theme swap today with the Wowarmory. I believe last year they swapped with thottbot. A good chuckle but not as creative as I expected.

Yeah I just caught that…stopped tracking for updates after nothing had been posted all morning.
I wish it was less April Fools jokes and more fixing the battle.net merged account login problems!
