Well…probably not but a quote that was used in the movie instantly made me think of WoW. Now I didn’t jot this down so I may be a word or two off. No spoiler here but in a scene where the Joker is talking to Batman..
Joker: “You see, this is what happens when an unstoppable force hits a immoveable object“
See! See! It could be another place where World of Warcraft is showing up in Pop culture. It didn’t feel out of place so it’s not like the writers tried to cram it in there. It’s not a World of Warcraft exclusive quote either. I just thought it was interesting to see that in the movie and even more interesting that a player like me would assume that’s a WoW thing when it can quite possibly be a coincidence.
Also to the lady behind us who broght her two kids that were probably no older then age 4 and 5. Thank you. I particularly enjoyed the fact that they talked through the first 5 minutes and then balled their eyes out for the other 147 minutes of the film. The only thing I enjoyed more was how you FORCED them to sit through the movie because you didn’t do the right thing and get up and leave. Thank you for bringing kids that age to a PG-13 move. Your parental guidence shows that you should not be fit to breed anymore.

Awesome! I love the pic you’ve got there btw!
I hate it when people ruin things for everyone like that – tbh if it were me I woulda turned around and said something. Not that I’m sonfrontational in the slightest.. *whistles*

Isn’t the Unstoppable Force and Immoveable Object a reference to a philosophy question, which asks what happens when they meet? I liked the quote in the game, but pretty sure my crusty teachers asked that question in the early 90s, many moons before wow added the items. Great items too. My fav was when they added the Stoppable Force.
@Typhoonandrew yeah I guess I should have drawn a bit more attention then just saying “It’s not a World of Warcraft exclusive quote either.” It does definitely sound like a philosophy question. There is a few things that I’m pretty sure are exclusive to WoW (melt faces) but there are also a lot of fun quotes that are a tongue-in-cheek reference to something else that the designers dropped in the game.
hehe yeah that phrase was used long before WoW. It was even used to refer to Hulk Hogan & Andre the Giant in the early 80′s.
