Hello World!…of Warcraft

by on April 27, 2008

Hello everybody and welcome to my little corner of the World of Warcraft. Let me start out by stating I’ve been trying to get this blog rolling for maybe a year now just haven’t gotten around to posting (actually I just took a month off during the middle of this post). Reason was, all my free time goes to WoW it seems. If I’m sitting in front of a computer with free time, I’m either reading about WoW or playing it. I play a lot of the game. Have been playing since the open beta.  My main has always been my Mage Aurdon but I have a few alts which will stop by from time to time in the posts.

I’ll leave this first post short and sweat because I can already feel its just going to ramble from here on out and its late…

I really enjoy this new WoW guide I found while searching on Youtube. It has some great tips, and now that I reached 60 and need an epic mount, am planning on using it all that much more. It has graphic maps and is just wonderful. Some of the stuff is really fleshed out and given walk-throughs are really easy to follow. Shameless plug I know, but in case someone else is looking for a guide like this I found one.

Shameless plug no more. Your video is not a guide per say…more of a youtube video hocking your crummy pdf guide that is a dime a dozen in the world of scamming players out of real money for a few quick tips you can find anywhere on the internet for free. You'd be far better off trying to join an affiliate program and selling someone's more well known guide instead of one of those mile long squeeze pages. Dunno if you expected to get raw traffic from a page that has absolutely no traffic at all to it or you expected to get a clean link using appropriate anchor text for your desired keyword but seriously dude, your youtube page is never going to rank for that keyword. You fail at SEO. I should know because I am one. Try to Google "Mage blog" sometime. And if you think that was an easy one cause of its relevance then search "Death Knight Gear".

I usually would simply delete your comment as it did not benefit anyone but your own interests but wanted to leave it up here as an example that I do watch all my comments on my posts (even ones buried years back).
